"For years, I felt like I was constantly fighting against myself—struggling with focus, forgetting things, and feeling overwhelmed by tasks others seemed to handle easily. I always blamed myself for being lazy or disorganised. It wasn’t until a friend mentioned ADHD in adults that I started to wonder if there was more to it." "I came across The Doctors Clinics online and booked their ADHD assessment package. From the very first interaction, I felt listened to and understood. The process started with a questionnaire, and then I had an initial consultation with the GP, who was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. They referred me for a formal assessment with their clinical partner, CAL, who were equally thorough and professional." "When I received my diagnosis of ADHD, it was a strange mix of relief and emotion—I finally had an explanation. But what made all the difference was what came next. I was brought back into the care of the clinic and started on medication with regular follow-ups. The GP took time to tailor the treatment to me, explained everything clearly, and genuinely cared about how I was getting on." "Now, several months later, I feel like I can finally breathe. Things aren’t perfect, but life makes more sense. I’m getting things done without burning out, and for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful about the future. I’m so grateful to The Doctors Clinics for helping me get here. This experience has been nothing short of life-changing."
