For more complex or ongoing health problems, we recommend booking an in-clinic appointment so your GP can carry out a full assessment.

Our online GP consultations are delivered through secure video technology, giving you fast and convenient access to a private doctor from the comfort of your home. Yes, our doctors can issue sick notes for work or school following a consultation and medical assessment. This service carries an additional fee of £99. Sick notes are valid for a maximum of 14 days and cannot be backdated.

Medications in the benzodiazepine family — such as diazepam — carry risks of dependence, tolerance, and withdrawal, so we only consider them in exceptional, medically-justified situations and never for long-term use.

If a patient needs help with anxiety, sleep, or stress-related symptoms, we normally explore safer and more effective alternatives first. This may include short-term non-addictive medications, lifestyle guidance, or referral to psychological support where appropriate. If diazepam is genuinely required — for example, around a specific medical procedure — a doctor would make that decision only after a full assessment.
